1. The All Church Christmas Caroling, Chili Supper and Hymn Sing is today. Caroling is at 3:00, supper is at 5:00, and the hymn sing is at 6:30. We plan to add items and then close up the time capsule after supper and before the hymn sing.

2. Church trustee meeting is this Tuesday at 7 pm.

3. Christmas program practice for the Bible Class students is Wednesday at 7:30 at the FH.

4. Christmas program practice for the Beginner through 2 ^nd grades is Friday at 6 pm at church.

5. Sunday School Christmas Program is next Sunday at 6:30 pm. Students should be here at 6:00.

6. Midwest Food Bank Load Out day is Wednesday, December 11 ^th . There is a sign-up sheet for food on the bulletin board.

7. The Skylines remodel for the Salem unit has been approved by the board and will begin in the spring of 2020.

8. Sis. Eleanor Baer passed away Thursday evening. Her visitation is tomorrow at the FH from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral is here at the church on Tuesday at 10 am.

9. Reminder: Red Cross Blood drive is December 12 ^th from 12:30 to 6 at the FH. Blood donors are needed. Please contact Sis. Denise Kieser if you are able to donate.

1. There will not be church services this Wednesday evening, but we will have Thanksgiving Services Thursday morning at 10 am.

2. The All Church Christmas Caroling, Chili Supper and Hymn Sing is next Sunday, December 1st. The sign-up sheets are on the table in the fellowship area. All food should be brought to the FH Sunday morning before church.

3. Everyone is invited to the wedding and reception of Bro. Braden Streitmatter and Sis. Lydia Sauder on Sunday, December 8 ^th . There will be a singing for everyone on Saturday evening at 7 pm here at the church. Please sign-up on the bulletin board if you plan to attend the reception.

4. The Red Cross Blood Drive is Thursday, December 12 ^th at the FH from 12:30 to 6 pm. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for workers. We are encouraged to donate blood if possible since donations have been low in the past. Please contact Sis. Denise Kieser or Sis. Barb Ehnle with any questions.

5. We want to thank all those who helped make our church’s evening of remembrance possible. It has been a blessing for all of us. The church history books are in the conference room for anyone who didn’t get theirs Friday evening. There are extra books if anyone would like one.

1. The Bible Class students have practice at the FH this Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm.

2. Our Church’s 50 ^th Anniversary Night of Remembrance is this Friday at the FH at 7 pm. The Remembrance Books will be available then. Cost is $13 per book and checks can be made payable to the church.

3. The testimonies for Kami Stahl and Tagen Steidinger are this Saturday at 7 pm. Everyone is invited to the baptisms on Sunday. There are sign-up sheets on the bulletin board.

4. New lists are being made for the upcoming year. If there are any changes for the Church Rotating Potluck list, please contact Sis. Margie Schick. If there any changes to the Skylines Thursday evening services, please contact Sis. Heather Plattner.

5. Skylines Home has openings for a Director of Nursing and also for Home Care Services. More details are in the email announcements.

1. It is Princeville’s turn to sing at Skylines after church today at 2:30.

2. The Bible Class is going to Elgin for ACYF today. The bus will leave at 1:30 and return around 10:30 pm. The students will sing their songs for us before afternoon services at 12:15 in the assembly room.

3. The Hospital Lumiere Benefit is this Friday, November 8 ^th , at Five Points in Washington starting at 4:30 pm.

4. Invite-a-guest is next Sunday. Sign-up sheets are on the table in the FH area.

5. Midwest Food Bank Load Out Day is Wednesday, November 13 ^th . A sign-up sheet for food is on the bulletin board.

6. The HarvestCall Winter Work Project for 2020 will be in Orange County, TX. Forty volunteers will be needed each week starting January 5 ^th and ending March 27 ^th . Skilled tradesmen and unskilled workers are needed. Online registration is required and opens at noon on Monday, November 18 ^th at www.harvestcall.org . Princeville is not coordinating any specific dates to go this year.

7. The Goodfield Distribution Center is no longer accepting furniture, appliances beds, etc. There is still a need for smaller items like bedding, clothes, & shoes. Please see Bro. Andy Martin with any questions.

8. The ministers have visited with two converts and would like to announce them for baptism. They are Kami Stahl, daughter of Bro. Rod and Sis. Cathy, and Tagen Steidinger, son of Bro. Chris and Sis. Carol. Testimonies and baptisms are being scheduled for the weekend of November 23 ^rd and 24 ^th .

9. We would like to announce the engagement of Bro. Luke Kieser, son of Bro. Tim and Sis. Denise, to Sis. Lydia Luginbuhl, daughter of Bro. Scott and Sis. Bev from Roanoke.

5. The Silver Lining has positions open for Producer and Administrative roles. Bro. Baryry & Sis. Joyce Kloter from Goodfield have done this in the past, and it requires about 25 hours/month. They plan to visit neighboring churches and will inform us of about how many are coming each Sunday. You are welcome to personally invite anyone from Eureka but try to avoid July 28 ^th as we have a wedding here in Princeville.

7. The Sister Heart Women’s Sing is being planned for the weekend of April 13 ^th and 14 ^th in Champaign. There is more information on the email announcements.

8. The ministers have visited with two converts and would like to announce that they have peace with God and are ready for baptism. They are Amy Christ and Lindsey Givens. We are planning the weekend of March 2 ^nd and 3 ^rd for their testimonies and baptisms. Testimonies will begin at 7 pm. Bro. Rick Plattner from Fairbury plans to be with us.

2. Sis. Lillian Elsasser passed away on Friday. Visitation will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home and the funeral is Tuesday at 10 am here at the church .

3. Bible Class students will have ACYF practice this Wednesday at Bro. Tristan Herrmann’s home at 7:30 pm.

4. Skyline services are this Thursday at 6:45 pm. Group 1 is scheduled to go.

5. Harvest Call Clothing Drive will be Friday, February 1 ^st . Clothes can be put in the bins in the Harvest Call storage room at the FH. Specific needs for Eastern Europe are socks and children sizes of warm clothes. If anyone is able to provide the snack, please let Sis. Cathy or Sis. Sam know.

6. For those of us who have the Harvest Call Missionary Booklets, new pages are available and are located on the table in the fellowship area.

1. The Prairie Villa Board has invited everyone to an informational meeting/open house at the Villa on Monday, March 19th at 7:00 pm. The board will also be explaining some potential changes regarding leasing structure and the sale of units. All are encouraged to come, not just those who are considering living there.

2. There will be a special service this Wednesday evening to reveal the results of the minister ballots. Bro. Bruce Endress and Bro. Tim Funk plan to be here. Everyone is encouraged to come. There will not be any practice for the Bible Class this Wednesday.

4. Princeville’s turn for the song service at LifePoints is this Friday at 7 pm.

4. There will be a short meeting regarding the Bible Class work team to Mexico next Sunday, February 11th at 11:45 in the Sunday School room. This is mainly for high school aged students and their parents, but other members of the church are welcome to attend if they have an interest in going on the trip.

4. There is an opening of a position for weekly church cleaning. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Bro. Kurt Christ or any of the church trustees within the next few weeks.

5. Bro. Seth & Sis. Hannah Hoerr have been assembling with us since they are living in Davenport. This past week Bro. Seth found out that he has a mass on his adrenal gland and an enlarged lymph node on his kidney. Surgery is planned within the next few weeks, with a possibility that multiple organs will need to be removed. Let’s keep them and all the family in our prayers.

6. Also, Pooch Martin had an emergency surgery yesterday for an obstructed bowel. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Along with that, Harvest Call has produced a booklet which includes a photo and contact information of each missionary serving in the field. The intent of these booklets is to facilitate prayer and relational support for our missionaries. Saturday Evening Announcement:

With the availability of technology at our fingertips 24/7, the temptations are there to look at or become involved in things that are not wholesome and pure. An example of this is pornography, but there are other areas, too.

To try to help us with this, our Princeville Church is in the process of doing two things. One is we have had a Brother and Sister from our congregation attend a training session put on by ACCFS. They are trained to work with individuals who are struggling in these areas that Bro. Craig would refer to them.

The second thing we are going to do is to have an ACCFS presentation on “Safe Technology Use for the Family” sometime at the beginning of next year. We will inform you when a date is decided.

College Student Invitations/Fundraiser

1. ICC/Bradley Young Group is having a fundraiser at the Morton Culvers (121 E. Courtland) on Tuesday, August 15th from 5 to 8pm. This will benefit their Free Bible Now program which provides Bibles to be given out on college campuses.

2. ISU/Heartland Community College/Illinois Wesleyan students and families are invited to a welcome dinner on Sunday, August 20th at 4pm at the Bloomington Church. Families are invited to worship at Bloomington for the day, also.
